OnTrack WNC Executive Director Receives Asheville Chamber of Commerce Athena Award
On June, 21, 2010, Celeste Collins was recognized with the ATHENA Award. The award, sponsored by Webb Investment Services, Inc, recognizes a woman who has attained the highest level of professional excellence in business and honors women as valued business and professional leaders in their community. Laura Webb, CFP and President of Webb Investment Services, presented Collins with the award at the annual meeting of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.
As a visionary and adept leader, Collins has managed OnTrack WNC's rapid growth in response to the foreclosure crisis, while providing an empowering workplace for all staff. OnTrack WNC's recent addition of the Women's Financial Empowerment Center demonstrates Collins' commitment to the financial success of women in our community and exemplifies the mission of the Athena Award. Collins joined the agency in 1993 and became the Executive Director in 2002.
